2012 Transatlantic Titanic 100 Year Anniversary Miami to Barcelona

Departing Spokane April 13 with overnight Miami, 11 Day NCL Transatlantic Crossing and 5 Day Barcelona for first transatlantic ocean voyage and Barcelona visit. So different from my usual sensory overload. I have always wanted to take a longer cruise and cross the atlantic. Until now, the cost has been prohibitive until NCL created solo affordable cabins for us individual travelers. We set sail from Port of Miami on April 14th the same day the ill fated Titanic struck an ice burg about 400 miles southeast of New Foundland 100 years earlier. The Titanic sunk at 2:20am April 15th. What a great way to honor that moment but on a ship in atlantic with the same sense of awe and excitement the such a voyage evokes. Barcelona will be incredible to explore for 5 days and I will finally get to know a great city more intimately instead of rushing to the next city and my body thanks my body :-)
